KATRA, Apr 3: Managing Director cum CEO J&K Bank Baldev Parkash, while speaking in an interaction organised by Hotel & Restaurant Association Katra (HRAK) in association with FHRICJR, said more and more people should invest in the Union Territory so that maximum employment is generated and for that every effort including liberal financing and tailor made schemes as requested would be provided to entrepreneurs.
He further said that all support and help would be provided to affected Tourism Sector and Hotel Industry in particular which was worst sufferer of Covid pandemic and J&K Bank will leave no stone unturned in its revival so that it may reach its peak once again.
President HRAK/FHRICJR Rakesh Wazir, J&K Bank President Jammu Zone Sunit Gupta, Zonal Head Rajesh Gupta, Cluster Head Ravi Kumar Sharma, Territory Manager BPCL LPG, Sandeep Raina,Territory Manager BPCL Retail ( Petrol Pumps) Eshu Kumar, former Minister Jugal Kishore Sharma, former MLA Baldev Raj Sharma, Chamber of Commerce & Industry Katra President & HRAK Sr Vice President Virender Kesar, Hotel & Restaurant Association, Patnitop President Kushal Magotra, HRAK Vice President Vivek Sharma, Rajesh Sadhotra, Ravi Nag, Sunil Dogra, Hari Om Singh, Gautam Sharma and others were present in the meeting with J&K Bank MD cum CEO.
Rakesh Wazir said that liberal financing and tailor made schemes which are the highlights of the Bank be continued in future as well with more energy and zeal and in addition to that initiatives under social responsibility, publicity and branding of the bank be broadened further like participation in Navratra Festival’s All India Devotional Song Competition, good looking bank buildings, re starting of the Calender of J&K Bank.
Sandeep Raina & Eshu Kumar raised the issue of Electronic dealer financing scheme to all the Petrol Pumps and Gas agencies as is being done already by SBI, ICICI, Bank of Baroda etc.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the Tourism sector is the worst sufferer from last 3 years and needs full support of the bank.
Baldev Raj Sharma raised the issue of rating of the business establishments while Virender Kesar demanded opening of the new ATMs of the Bank at Katra main Bazar as well as opposite Railway Station Katra. Kushal Magotra demanded full-fledged branch of the Bank at Patnitop. Ravi Nag said all Government schemes should be publicized and implemented in such a way that people may be able to avail their full benefits.
Baldev Parkash listened to the Industry people patiently and assured that Bank will leave no stone unturned for the development of the industry in J&K and particularly the Tourism/Service Sector.
