JAMMU, Apr 3: Ardh Ratri Maha Regeneya Sewa Sanstha (ARMRSST) Trust held a function at the Kheer Bhawani Peeth, here at Janipur today.
The function was graced by Sandhya Dhar who has recently been conferred Nari Shakti Samman on Women’s Day by President of India Ram Nath Kovind.
The Sanstha also presented a memento to Sandhya Dhar for bagging such a prestigious award. In his welcome address president of the Sanstha, Rohit Koul said Sandhya Dhar has become icon of the community and inspiration for others to follow.
Besides, Sandhya Dhar , Atal Dulloo, Additional Chief Secretary, Veenakshi Koul, Ekta Kanna graced the occasion. Atal Dulloo complimented the management of the Sanstha for holding the function which will inspire the youth of the community.
Sandhya Dhar appealed the management of the Sanstha to open Medical Centre for specially abled persons and Sanstha agreed to this request.
R L Dhar, L D Koul and Dr Susheel Watta also spoke on the occasion. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ajay Raina, vice president of the Sanstha.
