Vikar asks Cong workers to visit every village to solve people’s problems

BANIHAL, Aug 25: The Block Congress Committee Ramsoo organized one-day convention of party workers at Akthal where Minister of State for Information, Power and Technical Education, Vikar Rasool Wani was the chief guest.
The one day convention was organized with the aim to get acquainted with the problems of party workers of the area and to inform about the developmental works being executed in the area. The party workers of various Panchayats partricipated in the convention, highlighted their day-to-day problems and suggested measures for their early redressal.
Addressing the convention, Mr. Vikar highlighted the people friendly policies adopted by the Congress and called upon the party cadres for strengthening the party at grass-root levels. He said that the party offered opportunity to every worker to come close to solve the problems of people.
The Minister exhorted upon the party cadre to visit every village and mohallas and work with dedication in solving people’s problems, saying that their devotion and commitment would put impact on the people and they would ready to embrace the party.
The Minister gave brief account of the developmental activities in the area, saying that all these happened because of the efforts of Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad who extended helping hand for the development of State particularly far-flung areas.
A resolution with regard to comprehensive development of Banihal area was also passed on the occasion.
