JAMMU, Aug 25: BJYM under “Yuva Sadasya-Yuva Mitra” countrywide campaign witnessed massive response in Narwal area of Gandhi Nagar Constituency near here today when a large number of youth reached the venue to get themselves registered with the Morcha. It was organized by Mandal general secretary Ravi Sharma.
Morcha district president, Ajay Vaid, while speaking about this drive, said that BJYM National leadership had taken a decision to reach the youth in every nook and corner of the country to educate them about the anti-youth policies of the Congress-led UPA Government and mobilize their opinion in favour of the BJP through its youth wing.
He said that NC -Congress coalition in the State too has adopted discriminatory attitude towards the youth and there is widespread anger and resentment among them against it. This is clear from the fact that during the past few weeks thousands of youth from different parts of the State have come forward to be members of the Morcha as they have themselves realized that it is the BJP and its Yuva Morcha only which have been continuously raising their voice and agitating for their welfare and dignified future.
Ajay Vaid said that the Jammu and Kashmir Government is concerned for the surrendered militants and has schemes for their rehabilitation but it is most unfortunate that the peace loving, law abiding educated youth have no place in its scheme of things. The same Government has concern for the stone pelters in Kashmir and again it has nothing for Jammu youth, who are sitting idle after completing their studies.
