CRPF organises free medical camp

JAMMU, Apr 7: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) held a free medical camp at Shri Ravidas Mandir Channi Rama under the overall supervision of Commandant-160 Battalion, KD Joshi, here today.
In the camp, Dr SL Fotra, MO 160 Bn; Dr Rashmi Lata, CMO; Dr Rahul Sharma MO CH CRPF Jammu and Dr Niyati Abrol, MO examined the patients and counselled them to maintain overall health. Free medicines were distributed among patients and needy people.
Commandant KD Joshi informed the audience about the motto of the camp and elaborated the role of the CRPF in maintaining cordial relationship between civilian/local and force.
The Commandant said that under the ‘Civic Action Programme’, the Jammu Sector CRPF in collaboration with J&K Health Department, these types of camps have been regularly organised for the last one year wherein more than 300 patients were examined so far by the medical officers.
