RAMBAN, Apr 7: Chanderkote and Ramban Police foiled bovines smuggling bids.
As per police sources, on specific information teams from Police Station Chanderkote and Ramban laid check points in their respective jurisdictions and intercepted five different Kashmir bound vehicles.
During checking, police team rescued 49 bovine animals and seized the vehicles.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Chandekote and Ramban and investigation started.
Police teams led by SHO Chanderkote Inspector PD Singh and SHO Ramban Inspector Sandeep Charak foiled the bids under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen and SP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
