Medical Employees Fed to launch protest on Apr 19

JAMMU, Apr 8: A meeting of J&K Medical Employees Federation was held here today under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan, Federation president wherein issues of health employees like delay of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) for promotions of all categories of health employees was discussed.
Demand of amendment in service recruitment rules SRO-20 which was lying pending in General Administration Department was also discussed.
Speakers in the meeting Federation members said that last month they gave time to health authorities to conduct DPC within 30 days else they will launch Kam Chor Hartal.
They said that till date there is no development on the issue and the administrative department has failed to frame rules of promotion thereby leaving the employees with no other choice than to protest.
It was unanimously decided in the meeting to launch protest demonstration at every District Headquarter of Jammu division on April 19, 2022 including in front of Directorate of Health Services Complex, Jammu to press the Government to conduct DPC immediately without further delay.
The meeting was attended by Parfulat Singh, general secretary of Federation; Ch. Jarnail Singh, working president J&K Govt Pharmacists Association; Neelam Kumari, president J&K Female Multipurpose Welfare Association and others.
