JAMMU, Apr 8: The residents of Swaran Vihar, a colony developed by J&K Co-operative Housing Corporation are facing acute water shortage.
The residents have requested the management of the said corporation to improve the old age infrastructure of drinking water supply system so that regular and sufficient water is being supplied to them.
They said that the Management of the Corporation is deliberately delaying to improve the structure.
The executive committee of the colony held a meeting under the chairmanship of President SN Raina and has appealed to the Lt Governor to intervene into the matter and direct the concerned authorities to mitigate the long pending water shortage problem on priority.
