JAMMU, Apr 8: Bahu Fort Police booked a man for using fake registration number on his motorcycle.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari laid a naka and intercepted a motorcycle.
During scrutiny of documents, it came to fore that the intercepted motorcycle was having fake registration number and accordingly police booked one person, who was identified as Gurpreet Singh, son of Gulshan Singh of Nanak Nagar District Jammu.
The similar number motorcycle was also seized to check the authenticity of both the vehicles.
A case under FIR Number 105/2022 under Sections 420, 417 and 419 IPC has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
