Army starts computer classes for youth

DODA, Aug 26: The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, located at Doda, started the computer classes for the unemployed youth of district Doda, under the ongoing Operation Sadbhavana, today.
The classes will run for the duration of one month. The aim of the classes is to enable the unemployed youth to generate the opportunities of employment and make them self dependent. The classes were inaugurated by the representatives of Army in the presence of villagers and youth attending the computer classes. A total of fifteen youth will be trained in this programme.
A majority of populace in Doda region resides in the remote areas and is devoid of basic amenities and infrastructure. The local populace had requested the Army to conduct the computer classes for the local unemployed youth so as to help them to get the employment and become self dependant.
