SRINAGAR, Aug 26: Police today said the pedestrian, Ishtiaq Hussain Dar of Ichgam, Budgam, who was injured by a motorcycle hit him on Saturday succumbed to his injuries last night at SKIMS here.
At least 24 passengers were injured after a non-stop Kupwara-Srinagar bus bearing registration number JK03-3288 over turned near an army camp at Watayan in Handwara in Kupwara district.
In another accident, a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK14/8056 hit and injured Arshid Ahmad Mir, 6, son of Mohammad Ishaq of Y.K Pora, Kulgam at YK Pora, a police spokesman said. He said he has been removed to a hospital for treatment.
