JAMMU, Apr 9: J&K BJP president Ravinder Raina along with former MLA and Party spokesperson, Ranbir Singh Pathania and other senior leaders released Dogri song ‘Dharain Poundian Dhooran’ at Party Headquarter Trikuta Nagar, here today.
While releasing the song Ravinder Raina dwelled upon the sweetness, folk-touch relevance and theme of the song which dwells upon the living styles of people living in hilly areas. He recalled the huge contribution of singers and folk artists of Ramnagar in preserving, promoting and propagating the Dogri culture, dance, geetru, paakh and musical instruments also.
Shanker Dass enthralled the audience with his melodious voice. The music of the song has been done by Gautam Ganesh, while lyrics have been composed by Romi Ramnagaria and Sapna Soni and Romi Ramnagria have been the actors in the song. Aditya Hyderabadi and Alankar were the cast of the album. Makeup has been arranged by GMJ productions and Sunny RJ.
Ranbir Singh Pathania call for including Dogri as a subject in Central University of Jammu as well as SMVDU, Katra. He also dwelled in detail on various facets of Dogri culture, its essence and edifice.
Munish Sharma, Narain Singh, Vikas Choudhary, Tilak Raj Gupta, Dr Pardeep Mahotra, Iqbal Malik, Sanjay Baru, Sanjay Bakshi and many others were present during the event.
