JAMMU, Aug 26: Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Culture Raman Bhalla today distributed Youth Congress identity cards to the elected office bearers and members in a function organized by Youth Congress at Malik Market, here.
Raman Bhalla, who was the chief guest on the occasion was accompanied by Pradesh Youth Congress president Shahnawaz Choudhary, who was the guest of honour.
While speaking, Bhalla said that there is urgent need of youth to take healthy participation in politics for the welfare of the country.
Shahnawaz Choudhary awared the youth about polices and schemes of the UPA Government so that more and more people could take maximum benefit from these schemes which are implemented for the welfare of the common people in India.
Shabir Kohli demanded playground in Bathindi area which got the appraisal by the Minister also.
The programme was organized by Jatinder Chib, president, Youth Congress, Gandhi Nagar.
Among others present were Ajaz Choudhary, AYC president Mendhar, Naib Sarpanch Kasturi Lal, Chairman Putto, Neeraj Kundan, NSUI National Delegate, Nasib Ali, general secretary, NSUI, Neeraj Kumar, etc.
