Pakistan: Plea filed in IHC to put Imran Khan, ex-ministers on ECL

ISLAMABAD, Apr 10: A plea has been filed in the Islamabad High Court seeking to place former prime minister Imran Khan and some of his cabinet ministers on the Exit Control List (ECL), The News reported on Sunday.
The IHC will hear the petition on Monday.
The plea was filed by Maulvi Iqbal Haider after Imran Khan left the PM House following his ouster from the prime ministers office as a result of a successful no-confidence vote against him on Saturday night.
Haider has also requested the IHC to put former deputy speaker Qasim Suri and Asad Majeed on the ECL list alongside former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Fawad Chaudhry
The plea also seeks an investigation into the alleged threat letter and an inquiry against the former prime minister and other ministers regarding the matter. (UNI)
