UDHAMPUR, Apr 10: Kud Police worked out a theft case with the arrest of two burglars and their associate along with stolen batteries.
As per police sources, during the intervening night of March 16 and 17 this year a theft of 20 batteries took place in the compound of the Airtel tower located near Mall Road.
To work out the theft case, a team from Police Station Kud led by SHO Inspector Arun Kaul was constituted under the supervision of SDPO Chenani Ahmed Shaafi.
The team did hectic efforts and finally arrested two thieves and their associate, who used to purchase the stolen batteries.
The arrested persons were identified as Bhushan Lal, son of Churu Ram of Sanasar, Jammel Ahmed, son of Abdul Gafoor of Champa Batote and Bhushan Kumar of Batote, District Ramban.
On their disclosure, stolen batteries were recovered.
Further investigation into the case registered with Police Station Kud is going on.
