MC Baramulla conducts demolition drive

Srinagar, Apr 12: The Municipal Council Baramulla today acted against a violator in the main Chowk of Baramulla in North Kashmir and carried out a demolition against a commercial structure whose construction had stepped out of the set parameters.
In this regard, officials told Excelsior that during the drive, a shopping complex that has come up at the main Chowk of Baramulla was acted upon after it was observed that during the construction of the building, the parameters were violated.
“The building was 2 feet out from the front side, putting it in the category of encroachment and violation; a team from MC Baramulla today reached the spot and carried out the necessary action,” the officials said.
They assured that the action against the violators shall continue in the district and those found breaking the rules and regulations will be brought to book.
