JAMMU, Apr 14: RS Pura Police arrested and booked a notorious criminal under Public Safety Act (PSA) and lodged him in Central Jail at Kot Bhalwal here.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station RS Pura led by SHO Inspector Jai Pal Sharma under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh apprehended a notorious criminal.
The accused has been identified as Balbinder Kumar alias Pandey, son of Daya Ram, a resident of Chakrohi Tehsil Suchetgarh District Jammu.
He was wanted in six criminal cases registered with Police Stations RS Pura and Miran Sahib.
A dossier was prepared and submitted to the concerned authorities.
The District Magistrate Jammu issued the PSA warrant which was executed by RS Pura Police.
The accused has been booked under PSA and has been lodged in the Central Jail at Kot Bhalwal District Jammu.
