Master suspended for remaining absent

RAMBAN, Apr 14: Deputy Commissioner Mussarat Islam has ordered suspension of a master for remaining unauthorised absent.
According to the order, in view of the reports received regarding absence of staff in Government High School Kanga, Deputy Commissioner verified on phone from Abdul Qayoom Malik, Master, Government High School Kanga about his whereabouts. The said master confessed that he was in Jammu and has not sought any permission from the competent authority.
In view of above, Chief Education Officer Ramban shall hold a detailed enquiry and submit comprehensive report within a week’s time positively in order to proceed further in the matter, the order read.
“Till pending enquiry, master Abdul Qayoom Malik has been placed under suspension with immediate effect. During his period of suspension he shall remain attached at his substantive place of posting i.e. GHS Kanga”, the order further read.
