JAMMU, Apr 15: Janipur Police today nabbed two thieves and recovered a stolen cow on their disclosure.
Acting on a complaint by one person namely Gandharb Singh Chib of Upper Roop Nagar, Janipur (Jammu) that some unknown thief/thieves stole his pregnant cow on the intervening night of April 8 and 9, a case FIR Number 32/2022 U/S 457/380 IPC was registered in Police Station Janipur.
During investigation, a team headed by ASI Maqbool Hussain, after hectic efforts nabbed two thieves namely Shmma son of Ali Goher, Marh) and Mohd Saleem alias Mansha son of Abdul Rashid, both residents of Rajpura Mandi (Kanachak tehsil, Marh) and on their disclosure recovered the stolen cow and also the vehicle (Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK20A-3489) used to transport the stolen cow.
Further investigation of the case was going on.
