JAMMU, Apr 16: Janipur Police arrested a man for raping a minor girl.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a lady with Police Station Janipur stating therein that her minor daughter has been allegedly raped by a man identified as Bua Ditta, son of Mani Ram, a resident of Janipur Colony District Jammu.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 35/2022 under Sections 376 IPC and 3/4 Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was registered at Police Station Janipur and the alleged accused has been arrested.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
