Kathua police reunites 2 ladies, missing girl with their families

KATHUA, Apr 16: Police in Kathua have traced out three persons including a missing girl and two ladies and reunited them with their families.
Police said on April 5, a missing report was lodged at Police Station (PS) Basohli by one of the family member of a girl stating therein that Rita Devi, daughter of Romesh Singh of Kelari tehsil, Mahanpur district Kathua is missing. Accordingly a missing report was lodged at PS Basohli vide GDR No. 14 dated 05.04.2022 and search was started to trace her. Acting instantly on the missing report the girl was traced out today and was immediately handed over to her legal heirs after completion of all formalities.
Meanwhile, Kathua police has traced out two ladies who were missing since April 14 and April 8 respectively and reunited them with their respective family members.
Police said on April 14 a missing report was lodged at PS Billawar by one of the family member of lady stating therein that Ashma Begum, wife of Altaf Hussain of district Kathua is missing. Accordingly a missing report was lodged at PS Billawar and search was started to trace her. Acting instantly on the missing report the lady was traced out today with her two children. While in another instance one more missing report has been lodged at PS Billawar in respect of lady namely Shakti Devi, wife of Ved Parkash of Durang Billawar whose missing report has been lodged at PS Billawar. The lady was traced out today with her two children. Thereafter both the traced ladies along with their children were immediately handed over to their heirs after completion of all legal formalities.
