Srinagar, Apr 16: A soldier today died after a bullet hit him in the face mysteriously in Tangdhar of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official said that the soldier identified as Arun Sharma of 209 field regiment of the army, deployed at Narpost Tangdhar was found dead with a bullet injury in his chin.
“It was not known immediately whether the soldier was hit accidentally or committed suicide,” officials said.
They said that a bullet is missing from his service weapon and that the investigations are underway.
