JAMMU, Apr 17: A free Medical camp- cum-Ortho awareness workshop was organized by NATURx PHARMAKON with the help of senior doctors from Govt Medical College, Jammu at Chinore near J&K Bank, Main Bantalab Road, Jammu North on Sunday.

The camp was formally inaugurated by an Octogenarian Ortho patient, Satya Devi in presence of Dr Bias Dev (Senior Ortho Consultant from GMC Jammu) and Dr Shubam (MD Ortho) and others. Besides free consultation, the Medicos created awareness among the Ortho patients during the camp about Osteoporosis, its treatment and prevention.
Over sixty patients having different ailments with regard to bones, joints and spine from adjoining localities -Chinore, Durga Nagar, Roop Nagar, Swarn Vihar, Rajinder Nagar and Ban Talab were provided free consultation. The main feature of the camp was, free BMD test (Bone density scanning) facility provided by the Emcure Healthcare Group representative Ankush Kohli for the patients during the camp.
The local Corporators and prominent people of the area lauded the efforts of the NATURx PHARMAKON and Amcure Group for providing this free Medical facility in Jammu North.
