In this regard, it has been decided that Qadri’s College of Medical Laboratory Technology, which sends its students for training at the GMC as part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), shall be given notice regarding the non-availability of Laboratory slots in different labs of GMC.
In the meeting that was held in this regard and was attended by all the concerned, it was stated that the college has started BSc. MLT course in GMC, Srinagar with the intake capacity of 30 seats per year “so the college is not in a position to accommodate the students of Qadri’s College.”

The Medical Superintendents who were also present during the meeting were directed to examine how many MOUs they have undertaken with the Private Para Medical Institutes and inform them that hospitals have no slots to accommodate students of the private paramedical college as the intake capacity of AMT school and College of Nursing, GMC, Srinagar has increased manifold.
The meeting also resolved that no application whatsoever for internship /observership shall be entertained from any applicant directly.
Also, it was stated during the meeting that, GMC, Srinagar, being the constituent college of the University of Kashmir, any programme on an exchange basis with the University of Kashmir shall be scrutinized through the academic section of the college and the Head of Departments shall not entertain any communication without the scrutiny of the request of the University of Kashmir in the academic section
