Kailash Kund Chari Yatra from Sept 2

JAMMU, Aug 28: Jammu Paryatan Vikas Mandal has urged the people to participate in the traditional Chari of Kailash Kund Yatra in Bhaderwah commencing from September 2.
A meeting of the mandal was held under the chairmanship of Ravi Mahajan, in which various stake holders in tourism and pilgrimage in Jammu participated.
While speaking, Mahajan said that JPVM has resolved to bring this yatra on the tourism map of the country. He stated that their organization with the active support and participation of all the stake holders in tourism and pilgrimage in Jammu have brought Shiv Khori Cave Shrine on the tourism map of the country.
He added that the organization will now devote next few years to bring Kailash Kund Yatra in Bhaderwah on the tourism map.
Mahajan appealed to all the stake holders from Jammu and Katra to take effective steps to motivate the Vaishno Devi pilgrims, tourists and locals to undertake Kailash Kund Yatra in Bhaderwah.
The hoteliers, travel agents, tour operators and transport operators and other voluntary organization will provide all the facilities and offer discount to the prospective pilgrims to encourage them to undertake the yatra, he informed.
Mahajan further informed that Tariq Choudhary, president, Hotels, Guest Houses and Travel Agents Association, Bhaderwah has also announced special discount to the pilgrims.
Among others present were Kuldeep Wahi, president, JPVM, Inderjeet Khajuria, general secretary, Davinder Chaudhary, president Jammu Province Tourist Taxi Federation, Ashiq Hussain Khan, president, United Hotels and Restaurants Association, Talab Khatikia, etc.
