VHP celebrates 49th Foundation Day

JAMMU, Aug 28: The Vishaw Hindu Parishad (VHP) today observed its 49th Foundation Day.
In this connection a function was organized by State Unit of VHP here, under the chairmanship of its president, Dr Rama Kant Dubey.
The function, besides the functionaries of the VHP was attended by the activists of Bajrang Dal (BD). On the occasion, Dr Dubey highlighted the reasons for which the VHP came into being in 1964.
He said the VHP was formed on the Janamashtami day in 1964 at Sandeepni Ashram, Maharashtra in presence of prominent Sadhus and Sants of the country.
He said the VHP is today celebrating its 49th Foundation Day and highlighted its achievements in uniting the Hindu community throughout the globe to take its struggle for formation of Akhand Bharat to its logical conclusion.
He said VHP is working towards unity of Hindu community to give a befitting reply to the detractors of the nation. He said Akhand Bharat is the goal of VHP and the organization is committed to it.
He strongly criticized the UPA Government at New Delhi and UP Government on imposing curbs on Sadhu Sammaj for participating in Chourasi Kosi Parikarma yatra at Ayodhya and termed it totally undemocratic. He said VHP is committed to yatra and it will not allow Government to impose curbs.
He expressed concern over deteriorating economic condition of the country and held the wrong policies of UPA responsible for it.
The function, besides Dr Dubey was attended by senior VHP leaders including Surrinder Mohan Aggarwal, Dr Sham Lal Gupta, Dr V K Gupta and leaders of Bajrang Dal from Jammu Mahanagar.
