RAMBAN, Apr 19: Police foiled major bovines smuggling bids by rescuing 131 cattle.
As per police sources, teams from Police Stations Ramban, Chanderkote, Ramsoo and Banihal laid check points in their respective jurisdictions and intercepted five Kashmir bound vehicles.
During checking, police team rescued 131 bovine animals and seized all the vehicles.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Ramban, Chanderkote, Ramsoo and Banihal and investigation started.
