JAMMU, Apr 20: Two residential houses were damaged while four received injuries in cylinder blast in Bakshi Nagar here.
As per police sources, fire broke out in a house due to cylinder blast which later engulfed the adjoining house in Bakshi Nagar today evening.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire fighters along with tenders reached the spot and after hectic efforts doused the flames.
Four persons received injuries in the incident and have been hospitalised, while exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Bakshi Nagar Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
