DODA, Apr 23: Bhalla Police arrested two thieves and recovered stolen property from their possession.
As per police sources, on April 2 this year Chief Executive Officer Bhaderwah Development Authority lodged a complaint at Police Post Bhalla regarding the theft of chain link fencing and iron benches from Forest View Resort Khallani Top.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 59/2022 under Section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation has been taken up.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Post Bhalla led by PSI Ankush Sharma questioned a number of suspects and finally nabbed two thieves involved in this theft case.
The arrested thieves were identified as Aftab Hussain, son of Mohammad Ashraf, a resident of Khallani and Mohammad Yousif, son of Abdul Kareem, a resident of Kanso District Doda.
On their disclosure, the stolen property was recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
