REK teachers seek regularisation

POONCH, Apr 23: Rehbar-e-Khel Teachers Association Poonch has urged UT administration to regularise the services of REK teachers and provide salary as given in all other UTs of the country.
District president of the Association Pervaiz Malik Afridi said that 3000 REK teachers are awaiting Govt’s decision to make their services permanent.
He said that there are many teachers holding PHD, MPhill and Master degrees and suffering from mental agony because of unstability in career. He said SEK teachers are being provided very meager salary and they are unable to feed their families.
The Association sought intervention of Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha into the matter.
