KANGAN: Army soldiers displaying arms and ammunition at a army base camp at Wusan Kangan some 30Kms from Srinagar on Friday. Army recovered from five top Pakistani killed militants during a night long encounter between army ,police and five Pakistani militants at Wusan kangan in District ganderbal on Srinagar-Leh National Highway. SRINAGAR: In a major success for the security forces, five militants were killed in the forests of Central Kashmir district of Ganderbal today, an army and police spokesmen said here.
The operation was launched early today in the forests of Wusan in which these 5 militants of Hizbul Mujahideen were killed.
All these militants are foreigners and the group had infiltrated last year into Kashmir from Pakistan. Five of the group were already killed.
Police spokesman said that 24 RR of army and Police in Kangan killed the 5 militants on the fringes of Najwan forests near Prang.
