Mumbai, Apr 25: Welspun Corp on Monday said it has bagged a major export order from South East Asia of approximately 55,000 MT for manufacture and supply of pipes for a critical offshore application.
“This order would be executed from our facilities in India and majority of it would be supplied in this financial year,” the company said in a regulatory filing. It, however, didn’t disclose the value of the export order.
Welspun said the order reflects its strong customer centric approach, culture of engineering excellence and robust track record resulting in global leadership in delivering critical pipe solutions for large, complex and challenging projects worldwide.
The company had recently won 26 KMT line pipe order from a customer in North America.
