JAMMU, Apr 26: Employees of Jammu & Kashmir Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) today deferred their ongoing strike till May 31.
The decision to defer the strike was taken by the J&K EPF Staff Welfare Association on the assurance of J&K Provident Fund Commissioner that the demands of the Association viz. HR issues, conduct of DPC, disposal of SRO-43 cases will be fulfilled till May 31. The Commissioner also released the salary of the Staff for the month of March 2022 and also assured to release their future salary on time without any stumbling block.
Expressing hope that the authorities will settle all its genuine demands in letter and spirit within the stipulated time, the Association said if the demands are not fulfilled as per given time, the employees will continue their strike after May 31.
