JAMMU, Apr 26: Bahu Fort Police arrested a lady drug peddler and recovered 105 grams of heroin from her possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali and PSI Farmeen Choudhary and PSI Balbir Singh under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Ahmed Jafari and SP South Mamta Sharma laid a naka near Channi bridge and intercepted a lady, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 105 grams heroin from the possession of the lady and arrested her.
The arrested lady was identified as Monika Kumari, wife of Ravi Kumar, a resident of Rajeev Nagar Narwal District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 118/2022 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
