KARGIL, Aug 30: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) under the chairmanship of Tahir Khurshid Raina, Principal, District and Sessions Judge, organized a legal awareness programme in connection with “Fundamental Rights and Duties of Citizens with special reference to women and children rights” at Syed Mehdi Memorial Hall, here.
On the occasion, SSP Sujit Kumar was the guest of honour, while Sunil Sangra, Chairman, TLSC, Mohammad Abass, ACR, CEO Haji Ghulam Murtaza, president, Bar Association, Manzoor Ali Khan, Public Prosecutor, students, besides many others were also present.
Chairman, DLSA, SSP, CJM, President Bar Association, CEO and students from various schools presented their views on the topic. They also highlighted the benefits of these legal awareness camps.
A debate competition was also organized and the winners were awarded with cash prizes.
Mohammad Aamri, secretary, Bar conducted the proceedings of the programme.
