RAMBAN, Apr 28: Banihal, Chanderkote and Ramban Police foiled bovines smuggling bids by rescuing 98 cattle and seizing six vehicles.
As per police sources, teams from Police Stations Banihal, Chanderkote and Ramban laid check points in their respective jurisdictions and intercepted six Kashmir bound vehicles.
During checking, police team rescued 98 bovine animals and seized all the vehicles.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Banihal, Chanderkote and Ramban and investigation started.
