JAMMU, Apr 29: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production and National College of Computer Education staged musical play ‘Ekta Ka Diya’ on the theme of national integration and communal harmony.
The function was inaugurated by Zulekha Farid, renowned singer of J&K as chief guest while the guests of honour were V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting; Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director J&K Health Department and Mukesh Singh.
Before the start of musical play patriotic songs were sung by artists and students.
The musical play was written, produced and directed by Dr. M.L Dogra, chairman BLSKS and the music was composed by M.C Kotwal, Music Instructor BLSKS.
The welcome address was given by Dr. M.L Dogra, Chairman BLSKS.
The singers, musician, actors and students who performed in the play were M.C Kotwal, Chahat Chadha, Sant Dass, Sunil Pandit, Shubam Mehra, Achint Singh, Ishiqa Rathore and Danish Aryan.
