BSP conference discusses price rise, reservation

JAMMU, May 1: J&K BSP held a one day conference at village Kote (Bhalwal) here today.
Dr. Avtar Singh Karimpuri, Ex-MP and BSP J&K Coordinator was the chief guest on this occasion along with Som Raj Majotra, J&K BSP president.
Issues of price rise especially petro-products and power and water crisis in J&K were discussed.
Speakers on this occasion claimed the BJP has no sympathy with common people who are feeling deceived by false promises by the present Government.
They said that the present Government is taking no interest to mitigate the problems of the people.
BSP leaders asked the people to follow the philosophy of Dr. B.R Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram, who gave their whole life for the establishment of democratic set up and guarantee of equal rights to all citizens.
They said that implementation of 27 per cent OBC reservation in J&K is pending since 1993 whereas EWS reservation was implemented within a week.
The BSP leaders advocated for reservation to each section of the society on proportion of its population.
They said that reservation will be rationalized if BSP comes to power in future.
The programme was organized by Charanjeet Chargotra, vice president along with Kuldeep Chalotra, president Bhaichara Committee, Kartar Gandhi and others.
