RAMBAN, May 1: Chanderkote, Batote and Ramsoo Police foiled major bovines smuggling bids by rescuing 250 cattle.
As per police sources, on specific information teams from Police Stations Chanderkote, Batote and Ramsoo laid check points in their respective jurisdictions and intercepted 11 Kashmir bound vehicles.
During checking, police team rescued 250 bovine animals and seized all the vehicles.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Chanderkote, Batote and Ramsoo and investigation started.
Police teams led by SHO Chanderkote Inspector PD Singh, Incharge SHO Batote PSI Rohit Sharma and SHO Ramsoo Inspector Nazir Ahmed foiled the bids under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen, SDPO Banihal Nissar Khoja and SP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
