Youth arrested for trying to outrage religious feelings

JAMMU, May 1: Peer Mitha Police arrested a youth for trying to outrage feelings of other religion.
As per police sources, an information was received at Police Station Peer Mitha that a youth has commented on social media platform Facebook with the intension to outrage feelings of other religion and religious beliefs.
Acting over the information, a team from Police Station Peer Mitha under the supervision of SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Kulbir Handa immediately swung into action and nabbed the youth, who was identified as Aryan Sharma, son of Rakesh Sharma, a resident of Bawe Wali Gali, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 25/2022 under Section 295-A IPC has been registered at Police Station Peer Mitha against the arrested youth and investigation started.
