JAMMU, Aug 31: Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past five years. A police spokesman said that, police today arrested an absconder, who has been identified as Karamat Hussain, son of Mohammad Hussain of Bafliaz, Surankote, District Poonch. He said that the accused was involved in a case registered with Akhnoor Police Station under FIR number 74/2008 under Section 279, 304-A RPC. The accused has been handed over to Akhnoor police for further investigation under Law, he added. A special team constituted by the police arrested the accused under the supervision of SP Headquarters Shailender Singh.
