JAMMU, May 2: To observe World Asthma Day & Nasha Mukt Bharat, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS), Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Social Welfare Department J&K and Sangam Tru Art Production staged Dogri Musical Play ‘Tandrusti Hazar Niyamat’ here today at Activity Public Hr. Sec. School, Janipur.
A pledge was also taken by more than 100 students and teachers which was delivered by M.C Kotwal, Secretary BLSKs.
Principal of the host school, Rishi Gupta was chief guest and he inaugurated the programme.
Among guests of honour were Arjun Mahajan and Sanjay Kumar-from staff of host school.
Specially prepared items on the theme ‘Jan Gan Man’, ‘Ekta Ekta Ka Diya’ etc along with skits, songs and dances were presented to aware the masses.
The chief guest while speaking on the occasion said that drug use and its illegal trade is a big threat to the present society.
World Asthma Day this year has theme ‘Closing Gaps in Asthma Care’.
Main attraction of the programme was Miss Zulekha Farid and Junior Mohd Rafi-Afroz Aalam.
Welcome speech was given by Dr. M.L Dogra, BLSKS Chairman.
