PoK resident repatriated

POONCH, May 3: A resident of Pak occupied Kashmir was repatriated by the Indian security agencies through Chakan- Da-Bagh cross LoC point in district Poonch today.
Official sources said that the LoC gate at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point was opened at 12:40 hrs and an Indian Army unit under 10 Infantry Brigade Poonch Sector handed over Pak national, Mehmmod Hussain, son of Shah Wali, resident of Kotli, PoK who had crossed over to Indian side from Manjakote area of Rajouri on April 28, 2022.
During handing over process, from Indian side were present Maj Manveer of 3/3 Gorkha Regiment, Akhtar Abas Naib Tehsildar Ajote, Dr Harpreet from PHC Ajote and PSI Davinder Singh from Police Post Khari and from Pak side, Maj Mustafa from 41 Balooch (Pak Army) and Inspector Majid Iqbal. On the occasion of Id-ul- Fitr sweet were also exchanged. The cross LoC gate Chakan-Da-Bagh was closed at 12:55 hrs (IST).
