Drug peddler arrested with ganja

JAMMU, May 5: Bathindi Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 1.5 kilograms of ganja from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Post Bathindi led by PSI Mohammad Younis Khanday under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Nayat Ali and SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari laid a naka and apprehended a drug peddler along with 1.5 kilograms of ganja.
The arrested person was identified as Babu Lal alias Babloo, son of Gangaram of Chattisgarh, at present Malik Market, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 129/2022 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
