SR starts mock test series for KAS aspirants

KAS aspirants taking part in mock test conducted by SR College of Competitions at Jammu on Sunday.

JAMMU, Sept 1: SR College of Competitions started the mock test series for KAS aspirants preparing for the Preliminary Examination scheduled to be conducted by the Public Service Commission (PSC) on September 29.
With focus on the examination ahead, the test series included sectional and full length mock tests for general studies and other selected optionals.
“To be continued for next 20 days, such an exercise goes a long way in improving the ability of the students to score higher in the upcoming examination for the elite services of the State,” Director of the College, Parveen Sharma said.
Since the Civil Services Examination is considered as one of the toughest examination because of its vastness and ever changing pattern, the SR College has always stood with the aspirants and has been supporting them through various initiatives including the current Test Series,” added Sharma.
Each test is of two hours duration and the number of questions and marks as also other criterion will be identical to one adopted by the State Public Service Commission.
Each test is followed by a detailed discussion by subject experts from Delhi and J&K. It helps the students in revising the whole syllabus within a very short time. The response of the students was overwhelming and almost 200 students appeared in the test”, disclosed Jammu centre head, Praful Sharma.
