JAMMU, May 7: Government of Jammu and Kashmir today accorded sanction to the creation of Agriculture Production Department with the amalgam of three departments.
The newly created Department of Agriculture Production shall consist of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department and Horticulture Department.
Consequent upon the amalgam of three departments, Administrative Secretary of the Agriculture Production Department shall be designated as Agriculture Production Commissioner.
