JAMMU, May 7: Gandhi Nagar Police arrested three absconders, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Gandhi Nagar led by SHO Inspector Pankaj Sharma conducted raid and arrested three absconders, who were at large since long.
The accused were identified as Ravi Kumar, son of Shiv Nath of Rampura, Vikas Sharma, son of Ramesh Lal, a resident of Upper Laxmi Nagar and Rakesh Singh, son of Surjeet Singh of Sungal Akhnoor.
Ravi Kumar was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 332/1995 under section 324 and 34 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act, whereas Vikas Sharma and Rakesh Singh were wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 26/11 under Section 353 andn109 RPC. Both the cases stands registered with Police Station Gandhi Nagar.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
The arrests were made under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma and SP South Mamta Sharma.
