JAMMU, May 8: Three days programme from May 6 to May 8 on 44th Foundation Day of Arya Samaj, Trikuta Nagar Jammu culminated with chanting of “Satya Sanatan Vedik Dharam Ki Jai” followed by Rishi Langer (common Lunch for all).
On all three days poise Yagya was performed by chanting Vedic mantras for purification of environmental pollution, Bhajans by Pt. Mohit Ji / Yogesh Ji and Vedic sermons by Vedic scholar Swami Sachidanand Sarswati from Rajsthan.
Dr. Priyanka and small children also spoke on the occasion.
On final day i.e. May 8 after performing poise Yagya, flag hoisting of ‘Aum Dhavaj’ was performed by members Ashok Koul, Suman Ghai and Jyoti Devi.
Two worthy members, Suman Ghai and Mahesh Tyagi, were also honoured for their dedicated services to Arya Samaj, Trikuta Nagar Jammu .
While delivering his sermons, Swami Sachidanand Ji made a reference to Vedic rituals from Garbhadsn (conceiving a child) to Antyeshti (death), to be mandatorily performed during life cycle of a human being ,as narrated by Mahrishi Dayanand Sarswati in his book ” Sanskar Vidhi” ,
Swami Sachinand also laid stress on providing ‘ Sanskars ‘ i.e. good habits and Vedic education to their children by the parents ,which is an urgent need of the hour .
Bharat Bhushan Arya, president, complimented Swami Ji , Mohit Ji ,Yogesh Ji ,guests of honour and all participants especially from all Arya Samajs of Jammu city, Arya Nagar (Dhinde Kakan) and R.S.Pura.
