JAMMU, May 9: In a petition filed by inhabitants of Village Majeen Rangoora, Justice Rajneesh Oswal has directed that no unauthorized construction shall be raised on the land acquired by the Jammu Development Authority. Moreover, VC JDA and Deputy Commissioner Jammu have been directed to file detailed status report with regard to the alleged encroachments on spot.
In the petition, petitioners have prayed for issuance of direction to respondents to evict the encroachers from the State land situated at villages Majeen, Rangoora which was acquired for development of Satellite Township by JDA.
Further, prayer has been made that work should be started on Satellite Township or land be restored back to original owners.
