Bring LPG, petrol, diesel under GST: AAP

JAMMU, May 10: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against the Government for hike in LPG prices.
The protest was led by Rajesh Gupta, vice president AAP JPPS, who said that price of domestic gas cylinder has now hiked by Rs. 50 and demanded to bring LPG, petrol, diesel under GST.
He said that women folk are unable to maintain their kitchen budget with soaring price of cooking gas.
“The Government has badly failed to check the rising prices of essential commodities,” the AAP leader said.
Carrying LPG cylinders, the protesters raised slogans against the Government for its alleged anti-people policies and demanded that the rising prices of LPG should be brought under control as it has been increased several times.
“People are suffering because of sharp rise in prices of essential commodities,” Gupta maintained demanding that the Government should keep fuel prices within affordable limits of the people.”
Gurmeet Singh, Amrik Singh, M.K Yogi, Mehar Singh, Sandeep Anand, Harry Singh, Rakesh Gupta, Neeraj Dewan and Shankar Singh were also present in the protest.
